Our Story

A shop built on good values and great people

MacDonald started with a simple idea: a neighborhood retail space where people could find quality products without the hassle of big-box stores. No pressure, no rush — just a well-stocked, welcoming shop where you're treated like a guest.

Over the years, we've grown alongside the West Coxsackie community. The faces around here change, but the spirit stays the same. We still open the door each morning hoping to make someone's day just a little bit better.

Whether you're a longtime resident or just moving into the area, we'd love to meet you. Come say hello — we'll save you a spot.

MacDonald is my go-to for gifts and little luxuries. The store is always clean and well-organized, and the team is incredibly helpful. It's rare to find that level of care in a local shop.
